Steve Stephens is poorly known for killing Robert Godwin Sr. in broad daylight back in April of 2017.

He stated that his motive behind the crime was his anger against his girlfriend.

Rober Sr. was an elderly citizen and father figure to his 10 children.

He was loved and cherished by all his family members.

The Pennsylvania Police Department then pursued Steve up to the so fled Erie County, where the murderer was involved in a shooting and lastly killed himself.

Steve killed Robert in April when he was picking up the late party cans from his backyard after the late-night Easter celebration with his kids.

The bereft family of Robert Sr. filed a lawsuit against the Facebook platform after the video of Steve killing Robert was displayed to the full extent and ferocity by the social media site.

On Sunday Easter day, Robert was shot in the head by the criminal who fled the scene following the police pursuit.

However, the Facebook platform didn’t report the cruelty of the stream, making it visible to all viewers around the world when an innocent elderly citizen was losing his life.

Though Facebook later apologized and stated that Steve’s account was banned in the next 22 minutes, it aided nothing of a relief to the saddened family.

Facebook was dismissed from the lawsuit in 2018 following the criminal’s death.

Nationwide Search And Reward On Steve’s Head

Following his escape from the crime scene, Steve Stephens was banned from Facebook, pursued by Pennsylvania Police, and involved in a shooting where he died from a self-inflicted gunshot in the northern part of County.

A reward of $50k was stomped on his head and clues of his whereabouts.

The nationwide search went till August, when the actual lethal gun battle took place.

He fled Cleveland and died in Pennsylvania following an armed conflict with the chasing authority.
