Mark Stoops is an American football coach and former football player which has an estimated net worth of $2.5 million.

Mark Stoops started his career as a defensive back for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 1986 to 1988. As he moved onto to his coaching stint, he became the assistant coach for the Hawkeyes in 1989 up to 1991.

As he transferred to Nordonia High School, he was the athletic director and defensive backs coach from 1992 to 1995. Stoops also the defensive backs coach for the South Florida Bulls in 1996 and University of Wyoming Cowboys in 1997.

Stoops served as co-defensive coordinator and safeties coach for the University of Houston Cougars in 2000. He was named as Miami Hurricanes’ defensive backs coach in 2001. Then, he also the defensive coordinators for Arizona Wildcats in 2004 and Florida State Seminoles in 2009.

In 2012, he was hailed as the head coach for the Kentucky Wildcats, in which Stoops replaced Joker Phillips.
