Lee Majors is an American actor.

Majors was born Harvey Lee Yeary on April 23, 1939, in Wyandotte, Michigan, USA to Carl Yeary and Alice Yeary.

He graduated from Middlesboro High School in 1957 and won an athletic scholarship to Indiana University.

Majors transferred from Indiana University to Eastern Kentucky University in 1959 and graduated in 1962.

In 1968, Lee got his first big movie role as Blue in Will Penny starring Charlton Heston.

Majors portrayed the characters of Heath Barkley in the American television Western series The Big Valley, Colonel Steve Austin in the American television science fiction action series The Six Million Dollar Man, and Colt Seavers in American television action series The Fall Guy.
