According to season 18’s record, the season premiere was watched by 2.98 million people while the finale was seen by 3.17 million viewers. The just-concluded season, which was a Rookies vs Veterans season, was won by Ariel Contreras-Fox, who defeated 16 other contestants, including Mia Castro, who finished as runner up. What We Know So Far

Here is the not so good part of the good news. While Hell’s Kitchen is expected to return for season 19, it will not be showing up until 2020, so fans might have to wait a while before watching Gordon Ramsay cook on the show.

No official airdate has been announced by the network, but considering the last three seasons have premiered in September, season 19 of Hell’s Kitchen might return to the air in that time period. However, although it hasn’t been officially confirmed by the network, the 19th season of the show has been recorded.

The show won’t be returning to the air until 2020 because Fox, the network hosting the show, has taken on WWE Smackdown Live, which will begin airing on October 4, during Hell’s Kitchen’s regular time slot.

Also, we know that the 19th season of Hell’s Kitchen will be filmed in Gordon Ramsay’s restaurant, Hell’s Kitchen Restaurant in Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas. Previous seasons have been filmed in Los Angeles, on studio lots in Hollywood.

Another noteworthy information to remember about season 19 of Hell’s Kitchen is the replacement of Sous Chef Jocky by Jay Santos, who finished as runner-up in the seventh season of the show, losing to Holli Ugalde. He will be replacing Jocky as the blue team’s sous chef for the 19th and 20th seasons.

A full list of expected celebrities and chefs as judges for season 19 is yet to be released but so far, we know that Laurent Tourondel, Justene Alpert, and Apolo Ohno will all be appearing as a judge on the show.

As for the number of contestants expected to appear in season 19 of Hell’s Kitchen, fans are likely to see a continuation of the total of 16 chefs that appeared in the 18th season, with a possible additional two contestants if the show departs from the tradition of the past two seasons.
