Moreover, he is also a nephew of rapper Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder. Hercy grew up  in a musical family background which has been serving the Hollywood entertainment industry for a long time. He married Sonya in 1989, with whom he has seven children, including Romeo Miller and two more from a previous relationship. The couple divorced in 2014.  Rappers Silkk the Shocker and C-Murder are his brothers.

His ball handling skills are phenomenal as he is able to get to the basket off the dribble and score at will. His confident jumpshot makes him a threat from the 3-point line. He averaged 25-points a game and 8-assists as he took his team to the final four in the Classic.
