Latest News: The Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora recently received Update 1.02, which aims to address various quests and gameplay glitches across different platforms. Main Quest Improvements

One of the main quest improvements includes fixing a missing arrow issue in the Pandora quest. In the Eywa’s Blessing quest, the update ensures that the quest progresses even if the player hits the target from Hunter’s Rest camp before activating the quest. Additionally, an invisible wall that was obstructing progress in the Into the Fog quest has been removed. In the Escape Plan quest, the issue of progression being blocked when the player interrupts Billy’s radio dialogue while running away outside during the “Run for the exit” objective has been resolved. Furthermore, the progression in The Missing Hunter quest no longer halts if the player dies during the “Defend Zomey” objective. The airflow of the ventilation fan in the Escape Plan quest is now functional, regardless of the player’s placement before it is activated. VFX issues with explosions on PS5 in the Return to HQ quest have been fixed. Players can now reach the next objective in the A Hidden Weakness quest. Loading screen issues and rocket launcher damage in the Last Strike quest have also been addressed. Additionally, co-op players will no longer see a “Quest failed” message in this quest.

Enhancements to Side Quests

Numerous enhancements have been made to side quests as well. In the Laser Ore Processor Alpha quest, players should no longer get stuck when trying to reach the valves. The objective marker, menu access, and controls in The Gentle Giant quest have been fixed. An infinite loading screen that occurred when skipping quests after completing The Unsung Hunter quest in co-op has been resolved. Players will no longer get stuck after choosing the “Cancel” option when talking to Kukulope without using a Ubisoft Connect account.

Global Level Updates

On a global level, the update fixed an issue where “No Fly Zones” created invisible walls in the airspace and resolved an issue with flying RDA Vehicles after destruction. The Na’vi senses feature has also been restored, and using grenades during combat will no longer cause it to stop working. The arrow in the bow is now visible, and multiple hair color notifications will no longer appear after purchasing. The “Powered” notification will no longer trigger multiple times when activating Field Labs, and the charge jump tutorial will no longer remain on the screen. The interaction radius for investigation clues has been increased, and a freeze on the death screen related to cross-progression saves has been fixed. Players will no longer get stuck in a loading screen the first time they connect to an online session on fresh accounts. Lastly, players will not be stuck on the credits if they watch them until completion.
