Guwahati, Sep 14 (IANS) The Assam government intends to switch all its auxiliary schools over completely to higher optional level, the Assembly was told on Wednesday.
Answering to an inquiry, Education Minister Ranoj Pegu expressed that according to the New Education Policy, the state government has proactively redesigned 215 secondary schools to the higher optional level.

The planning to switch one more 785 secondary schools over completely to the higher auxiliary level is in progress, he added.

The underlying upgradation list was ready by the Education Department, in light of the accessibility of coordinated operations, labor supply, and so forth and progressively, different schools will likewise be overhauled, Pegu said.

The priest likewise said that operationalisation of classes in the recently overhauled schools will be investigated at the region level. The expected managerial hardware will be given by the state government.

Prior, a greater part of the state government schools in Assam had classes up to 10 just while a couple could take understudies at 10+2 level moreover.

The state government schools in the state have the office to show higher optional standard understudies.
